Quick facts about Conewago's radiant heat system:

• The system is a "smart practices system" in that it has an outside temperature that monitors the real level of energy needed to warm building.  For example, on a 50 degree day the system may heat water at 80 degrees and shut off quickly, on a January day it will heat water at a 110 Degree level.  Needless to say, both are well under the 150 to 170 degree levels of a natural gas forced hot air system.

• The system learns from our practices and becomes more efficient.

• No more than three gallons are being heated at any time compared to systems that could have over a hundred gallons of water being heated.
