A new event for YAVA!
826 Boston is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting students ages 6-18 with their creative and expository writing skills, and to helping teachers inspire their students to write.
Join 826 Boston on May 28th to help students ages 12-18 with all sorts of subjects. Volunteers will be asked beforehand what subjects they are most interested in to help best match tutors with students. No prior tutoring experience is necessary. A one hour orientation will take place right before tutoring.
MBTA Accessible: Closest MBTA stop: it's a 7-8 minute walk from Jackson Square Station and about a 10 minute walk from Stony Brook Station.
Please note: Orientation takes place 12-1. Tutoring takes place 1-3. All volunteers must attend orientation.
