As you know from recent news reports, our nation is facing an economic downturn, the unemployment rate in Snohomish County is now on the uprise while federal funds for community programs continue to decline.
We appreciate the proactive role our partners take in responding to community issues, and we would like to continue this practice in regards to the unemployment rate.
We hope you can join us for one of two community discussions on the rising unemployment rate and the role we, as individual organizations and as a WorkSource system, can play. Our intent is to create space for honest discussion and deep thinking, so that when the “impending storm” hits, our community is ready.
