UNITE Foundation Spring Fundraiser

UNITE Foundation cordially invites you to its Premiere Spring Fundraiser, to be held May 9, 2015, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Gallery O on H Street (1354 H St NE, Washington, DC 20002). Through music, photos, silent auction items, and personal memories, this exciting event will tell the story of how UNITE Foundation is changing the face of youth empowerment and development in West Africa, particularly in Togo.

UNITE Foundation is responsible for Camp UNITE, an educational summer camp that has equipped young Togolese since 2001 with the life skills required to overcome the challenges of adolescence while growing up in a developing nation. Unfortunately, many young Togolese lack essential knowledge about health, gender equity, and the importance of education, while facing the same adolescent challenges that all young people experience around the world. Camp UNITE’s unique curriculum offers campers essential facts about health, wellness and education, as well as the teamwork, communication, and leadership skills needed for practical success in life.
