Event Details

Cherry Bites lunches are intended to be relaxed, expansive, affordable, inspiring, fabulous and fun, with lovely people from the beauty, hair, fashion, creative and lifestyle industries.

We realised how many people we know, how much could be gained form getting them together, and what exciting ideas could emerge. Perfect for people who work on their own and need some spark, or people who would like to expand the "lovely people they know" list.

Numbers are kept low to enable conversations to easily take place and to gain from meeting new people and building exisiting links.

The locations are kept secret until the attendees are all booked on, then the event destination will be revealed. Always central London unless otherwise specified, always easy to get to and always reasonably priced.

You buy your own lunch, (or just coffee if thats all you fancy) to keep costs down and save any worries about catering for dietary requirements etc. Just turn up, enjoy meeting everyone and leave feeling inspired!

The format is 2 hours of time, which involves just chatting, getting to know each other and then a slghtly more defined part of the session on the theme of the day.

This event theme is "Create"; how do you come up with ideas? What inspires you? How do you manage your creativity? What does being creative mean to you, your brand, business, image, way of thinking etc?

Excited? So are we. See you there.

The # for this event is #cherrybiteslunch.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be in writing to jo@cherrysorbet.co.uk

Cherry Sorbet Creative Services Limited reserves the right to cancel this event and in this instance a full refund will be made.

Why the fee? Because it takes time to plan an event. Networking in this way has value, and we provide the setting to do that. And because when you pay, there is a level of committment. It may not be right for you. That's ok too.

Jo Gifford is a designer, writer, blogger and founder of Cherry Sorbet Creative.

With 15 years experience in the hair, beauty and lifestyle industries working with a diverse range of clients  her portfolio career continues to evolve, which is just how she likes it.

As a designer Jo art directs and project manages a team of co-workers, and is most in her element when running a brainstorming session or one of her many workshops hosted by Cherry Sorbet. An MA in Design Management from London College of Communications fuelled her love of research and academia, and led to lecturing positions at various institutions in London and Cambridge for both further and higher education.

A natural networker and fellow of the RSA, Jo loves to meet like minded creative individuals and is inspired by the way others work and generate ideas. She is fascinated by consumer trends and is tech geek with a passion for apps and mindmapping tools for that hyper creative design thinking.

Her written work can be found across a range of on and offline publications, as well as her personal blogDexterous Diva, which documents life as a self employed mum of twins in the creative industries. Jo also undertakes copywriting for clients, and has been commissioned by the Arts Council to work on an interactive information portal for the creative industries.

When she isn’t designing, writing or blogging Jo is a proud mum of twin girls and can occasionally still be seen with a paintbrush in hand completely unplugged from technology. Occasionally.
