This seminar provides an introduction to Quick Response Manufacturing (QRM). It is led by Bill Ritchie, President of Customer Chain Consulting LLC, using slides and materials developed by Dr.Rajan Suri, creator of QRM. 

What is Quick Response Manufacturing?

QRM is a company-wide strategy to cut lead times in all phases of production and office operations. It can bring your products to market more quickly and secure your business prospects by helping you compete in a rapidly changing manufacturing arena.  It wil increase profitability by reducing non-value-added time, cutting inventory, and increasing return on investment.

Bill Ritchie, President and Owner of Customer Chain Consulting LLC, is an independent consultant with more than 25 years experience in general and operations management of manufacturing businesses in several industries, including Textron, Boston Gear, and Stanley Works. He has led numerous QRM implementations that have generated significant reductions in cost and inventory, creating dramatic growth in profitability, cash flow, and market share.  Bill is a certified trainer in Quick Response Manufacturing (QRM) and is actively involved with the Center for QRM at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. 

Seminar Details

Attendees will receive a copy of Dr.Rajan Suri's recent QRM book, It's About Time along with a workbook of slides used in the seminar.  Registration begins at 12:30.  An afternoon break with refreshments will be included.
