Photoshop CS3: Retouching Skin

Retouching skin can quickly become a tricky task. There are few absolutes when it comes to making faces and bodies look good — but everyone knows instantly when it's done wrong. In this popular workshop, our master retoucher, Jason Hoppe, delves into retouching skin in Photoshop.

This session combines a variety of topics from our other Photoshop workshops to demonstrate a wide range of techniques for dealing with the unique challenges involved in retouching faces and bodies. You'll learn many real-world techniques for smoothing out wrinkles, reducing blemishes, and correcting blotchy areas or other flaws.

This online workshop covers the real-world use of advanced Photoshop techniques. Including:

• Correcting skin flaws with the Clone Stamp tool.
• Using the Healing Brush and Patch tool.
• Removing or lessening wrinkles.
• Smoothing skin and creating more youthful appearance.
• Addressing weathered and damaged skin.
• Fixing blown-out or overexposed skin tones.
• Color correcting skin tones.
• Quick, easy techniques to punch up eyes and lips.
• Plus many tips and tricks from real-world retouching projects.

We design our training materials in quick, bite-sized modules. The results are short, focused workshops that allow busy creative professionals to get what they need, and get back to work.

Here's the pitch: Join us online for about an hour, pick up a couple new skills, and get back to work. You can put what you learned into use the same day.

These workshops are demonstrated using Photoshop CS3 on Mac OS X, however the learning applies to PC users as well as previous versions of Photoshop.
