TEDxRedmond 2011 is a youth-organized event with all youth under 18 speaking and performing. To find out more about TEDxRedmond, and watch videos from last year's event, please visit www.tedxredmond.com.

A = Arrive on-time. (Please arrive by 12:45 at the latest. If you do not arrive by 12:45, your seat will be released to waitlisted attendees.)
B = Buy tickets. If you're a parent, and you've registered your son or daughter to attend, you cannot just tag along. Parent tickets cost $10 and all parents intending to accompany their children have to sign up as well.
C = Chance to sit in the main room? Remember, all parents will be directed to sit in a simulcast room. How do you get the chance to sit in the main theater? If you are a student 18 or under, you are eligible to sit in the main room. In order to get your chance, you must be among the first 400 students to arrive. Try to arrive around 12:15 for the best chance.

SEATING
The conference will be taking place across several conference rooms at the Microsoft Conference Center. One room will be where the conference takes place physically (speakers will be speaking on that stage); all other rooms will have the conference fed live, in excellent quality, to the large screens).
Seats in the main room are reserved for students only. Having a student ticket does not guarantee your admission, however. You will have to arrive early (12 PM or so) if you are interested in sitting in the main room; it is first-come first-serve.
We have a few reserved seats for Supporter/Patron/Donor/Sponsor-level ticket buyers in the main room.
All Parent/Educator/College Student ticket buyers will be directed to one of several simulcast rooms. If you would like to accompany your children in watching the conference, they will need to go with you to a simulcast room.
AUDIENCE
We recommend TEDxRedmond for a focused, responsible, receptive, and diligent audience of high school and middle school-intellectual level students. Please do not bring small children or youth who may have difficulty focusing on speeches, performances, and videos for a lengthy period of time, as TEDxRedmond is a several-hour long conference.

If you are not a student, parent, or educator, please purchase the limited-amount "Supporter" ticket. There are also special options for supporting TEDxRedmond further. You can become a TEDxRedmond patron, donor, or sponsor a speaker. Patrons will be recognized and thanked onstage. Speaker sponsors will also be recognized and thanked onstage; additionally, you will have your name published to the TEDxRedmond website.
