Prima Festa presents a hands-on, hands-in Italian Soup and Antipasti Making Class on Sunday, February 15, 2009 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.  The session will be held in the Social Room of the First United Methodist Church located at 64 W. Chocolate Ave in Hershey, PA

Students will assist Prima Festa staff with making traditional Italian Soups the Old-World way. In the tradition of never wasting any food, the soups will be made with regularly available and affordable ingredients. Soups will have a broth or tomato base, and include various pastas, rice, vegetables, spices, crepes and meats. 

Professional Chefs and Prima Festa Staff Instructors will teach students how to make their own take-home Antipasti Platter using various ingredients such as greens, cheeses, Italian meats, pickled vegetables, peppers, onions, various olives and red beets.      

The $59 registration fee includes expert instruction, student's own take-home Antipasti Platter, samples of various homemade Italian soups, pasta and printed recipes. Instruction will be provided by Prima Festa staff and professionals chefs from the Hershey area.

Tickets to the event are transferable as long as Prima Festa is provided with the new contact information prior to the event. Unless it is an emergency, refunds will not be given within 30 days prior to the scheduled event. Prima Festa has the right to give credits toward other events in lieu of refunds.
