When choosing a .NET based CMS there are plenty of choices. One increasingly popular choice is Umbraco, quoting from its official site:

Umbraco is transparent and honest. It exists as an open framework to empower you to make a difference to the way content is delivered.

Umbraco lives because of its community which thrives on collaboration and is passionate about technology. We work together to bring about change.

"The Friendly CMS," this is what Umbraco calls itself these days. As we all know, fancy taglines don't give you enough information to make technology recommendations. We'll give you the fundamental information to make the call yourself. Working from your existing webforms knowledge, you'll learn how to create a basic Umbraco driven site. Then we'll walk though a couple real-world case studies.

Ken Ballard, the Lead Application Developer at Oncall Interactive, an award-winning interactive agency, has been developing a software on the Microsoft stack for over 13 years. He's been working with Umbraco for a year on everything from micro-site to enterprise implementations. He has worked with the core Umbraco team to deliver training and discuss the application's future version roadmap

Please register with your real first and last names because you'll need to identify yourself at the Sears Tower (Willis Tower) front desk. The front desk will have the list of attendees. If you can't register in time, show up anyway and call or text Sergio (224-627-8352) early or when you get to the front desk and we will let you in (do not send email asking to be registered, we may not be able to check the email in time). We meet on the 7th floor, room 750. Ignore the front desk if they tell you otherwise.
