How can your message increase commitment, understanding and support for your efforts?

Does your message resonate and create a powerful and lasting bond with your constituents?

It’s all about storytelling!

Research at Stanford Business School and M.I.T. confirms that the age-old practice of storytelling is the single most powerful organizational communication tool for delivering messages that “encourage more commitment, generate more belief and are more remembered than is statistical data making the same point.”

Stories are easily developed and told by anyone interested in your work – board members, clients, staff and even funders. Learn how other public and private sector organizations are using storytelling to build bridges of understanding in order to educate the public, improve communication within the organization and turn stakeholders into cheerleaders.

In this session you’ll learn key principles and guidelines for developing and delivering stories to:

-         Spark others to action (volunteer, donate, etc.)

-         Increase buy-in and understanding

-         Foster collaboration

-         Effectively communicate values, vision and purpose

-         Share knowledge and build institutional memory

Optional individual coaching can be arranged for you, your team or board, for an additional fee.

Presenter Jude Cassel Williams, President, Cassel Consulting Group, a firm specializing in leader, team and organizational effectiveness.
