Please join us at this year's event, which is dedicated to Mattie, and honors Chris Cuomo, coanchor PrimeTime Live/ABC News and our keynote speaker with the 2005 Heartsongs Award. Help us fulfill Mattie's dream of a state of the art PICU, with a full range of advanced equipment and all of the comforts of home.
If you do decide to join us, it would be greatly appreciated if you could bring with you any children’s books, videos, Game Boy games, or dvds that you have purchased or are not using anymore. Family videos/dvds are also welcome. Our goal is to create a library for all Children’s Hospital’s patients and their families.
You will be asked for address information, this is for tax purposes only... tickets will not be mailed to you.

The Heartsongs Luncheon Fund was established as a tribute to Mattie J.T. Stepanek, a child poet, peacemaker, and inspiration to us all. Mattie was a long-time patient of Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. before he lost his battle with a rare form of muscular dystrophy in June 2004. Monies raised by Heartsongs benefit Children's Hospital.
