Join us for Getting Social 1: Social Media for Beginners. In this interactive workshop, we will explore Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social networking tools. 

Participants will learn about what they are, how they work, and have the opportunity to create and update accounts during the workshop. Posting content, photos and videos will all be included.

Participants will have time to pose questions, bounce ideas, try things out, and have time to noodle around in a fun and cooperative environment.

Social media etiquette and privacy issues will also be covered.

What to bring:

• Notebook and pen/pencil.  This will give you the chance to take notes.  Don't worry, there will also be some cheat-sheets.
• Laptop and power cord.  The laptop will give you the opportunity to explore in real-time.
