Kaleidoscope Youth Center has provided a “safe haven” for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Questioning (LGBTQ) youth since 1994. For the past 18 years, KYC has maintained a safe and nurturing environment for Columbus youth who may otherwise face hostile school and/or home situations. Kaleidoscope provides a setting with positive peer and adult interaction, discussion and support groups, opportunities for leadership development, and referrals to other much needed services. Kaleidoscope Youth Center's Garden Party brings together important supporters and advocates of Central Ohio's LGBTQ youth. The funds raised at this event represent nearly 25% of our annual operating budget and are crucial to the support of our youth and our mission.
We sincerely hope that you will join us to celebrate our youth and the sponsors, volunteers, and community partners who support them. If you are unable to attend this event, please consider a tax deductible donation via our Website: http://www.kycohio.org (or mail a check to our P.O. Box below.) For additional information about sponsorship opportunities, please contact Amy@kycohio.org or call 614-294-KIDS (5437).
We thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you at the Kaleidoscope Youth Center 2012 Garden Party.

It’s all about our fabulous youth...
Kaleidoscope Youth Center, Inc. is the only organization in Ohio solely dedicated to supporting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth.
Our mission is to work in partnership with young people to create safe and empowering environments for LGBTQ youth through advocacy, education and support.
Our vision is to help LGBTQ youth live healthy, whole lives with acceptance and freedom from oppression. We stay true to our mission by intentionally partnering with young people (age 12-18) to create and implement programs and services that enhance the lives of LGBTQ youth in five core areas: (1) Leadership Development & Life Skills, (2) Support, (3) Health & Wellness Education, (4) Safe Social Activities, and (5) Community Outreach and Education.
