Nobby Lewandowski

Nobby Lewandowski firmly believes that, “Change is Inevitable – Growth is Optional.”  His long and varied personal and professional experiences have led him to a point where he helps others see opportunities for significant growth within the context of constant change.

His success evolved one step at a time, always aided by his natural insight which helps him identify where potential and possibilities exist.

Nobby received combined athletic and academic scholarships to both Benedictine High School and Kent State University.  He played three years of professional baseball.  He earned his Bachelor’s degree in business administration from Kent State and a Master’s degree from Case Western Reserve University.  He was awarded his C.P.A. certificate in 1964.  He began his accounting career at Deloitte & Touche.  In 1970, he founded his own firm, and ultimately led the firm to one of the “Top 20 Largest Accounting Firms in Northeastern Ohio.”  In 2008 Nobby was voted one of “Ohio’s Most Influential CPA’s” by the Ohio Society of CPA’s.

He is a member of the Cleveland Sports Hall of Fame and the Greater Akron Baseball Hall of Fame.  He is also on the Board of Directors of the American Institute for Stuttering, FirstMerit Bank, Benedictine High School and the Cleveland Baseball Federation.  He is a co-founder of the Medina County Community Fund and Bluecoats of Medina County.

Nobby sold his interest in the firm to employees and retired from the accounting profession in 1992.  He has published many professional articles and co-authored two books, “Real World Leadership Strategies that Work” and “Speaking Out!”.  He now devotes his time to coaching small businesses, civic and charitable endeavors, entrepreneurial ventures and public speaking engagements.  He uses emotion, insight, humor and personal examples to encourage audience participation in workshops and seminars that address a wide range of topics:  leadership, motivation, marketing, business perpetuation, performance planning and success.  Nobby’s views will be fun, entertaining, a learning experience and thought provoking.

Nobby Lewandowski has goals…but not like the rest of us have goals.  His list has 66 items on it and continues to grow, believe it or not… he has achieved 54.  To Nobby, that’s not enough… in fact, it’s only a start!
