Venue

There are various exhibit areas throughout the venue.

Local 16

  1. Entrance to Local 16 - "Connecting Communicators" Registration
  2. Lower Level Dining Room -  Table 1 (bay window exhibit area) Table 2 (booth exhibit area)
  3. Lower Level Dining Room -   Tables 3,4,5 (booth exhibit areas)
  4. Upstairs Lounge: Tables 6,7,8,9 (bay window exhibit areas)
  5. Upstairs Lounge: Tables 10,11 (two exhibit areas on side lounge and a 2nd bar)
  6. Upper Deck and Bar: Tables 12,13,14,15 (four exhibit areas near bar & back wall) - Covered area

What do exhibitors receive?

  • Table top – Local 16 has multiple two top tables that can be combined to provide table top space that may be required. The 2 tops are approximately 24" X 30". We request that you use not more than 2 two tops together.
  • Space for literature to be displayed or distributed
  • Logo on event webpage
  • Extensive promotion through Capitol Communicator's network (50,000 unique visitors in 2010)
  • An opportunity to extend give-a-ways and prizes to attendees
  • Association exhibitors may offer new member registration discounts in their recruiting efforts


Who is expected to attend the event?

This event attracted approximately 300 communications professionals last year. Polling from attendees from last years event was very positive. They loved the diverse crowd of communications professionals, the venue, the food and enjoyed engaging with the exhibitors. Many associations gained new members too!

What is the maximum number of exhibitors?

TBD (15) We sold out last year. So register early!


What time is set-up and breakdown?

Set-up will run from 4:00 – 5:30 pm. Breakdown is at 9PM


Can we set up a booth instead of using the table?

No, due to space constraints.


What is the format of the event May 5, 2011?

6:00-9:00 pm: Networking, food provided, announcements and prizes at 8PM


What food will be provided?

  • Chicken Drum Lollypops, Pomegranate Molasses
  • Grilled Shrimp "Salsa Rosa" (brandy, mayo, orange juice)
  • Fresh Fruit Platter w/Honey Mint Yogurt Dip
  • Crostini Trio: Artichoke and Fontina, Ricotta and Fresh Tomato
  • Margarita Pizzas from their *new* wood burning grill! 

Do exhibitors receive the attendee list?

Due to privacy concerns of our attendees, we do not provide a full list of attendees to exhibitors.


What if we have already purchased tickets to the event?

We will refund the ticket registration if you wish to use one of the free tickets under the exhibitor package for someone who has already purchased a ticket.


What is the exhibitor cancelation policy?

Refund of 50% if canceled 14 days before event. No refund within 7 days of the event.

How can I pay for an exhibition table at the event?

You can use your credit card on this website, or we'd be happy to invoice you, due pre-event. Contact Amy via email to provide your association or company commitment and billing information.
