Tales from Avistrum: Founder's Prophecy
Have you ever longed to be like Harry Potter, studying at a school of magic with other witches and wizards? You can! The fourth installment in our one-of-a-kind weekend-long entertainment experience begins October 24! Come join the faculty and staff of North America's premiere school of witchcraft and wizardry as we begin our fall term!
The dark witch Persephone has been defeated, and everyone is relieved to get back to a normal term at Avistrum. The PRETEND Act has finally been repealed, making it once again legal to teach Transfiguration. Everything is set for a nice, calm term - or is it? A new threat is brewing within the walls of the school - one that will threaten everything for which the school has stood for 312 years!
The weekend begins at 6PM on Friday, October 24, and goes until the following Sunday evening. Your ticket for the event includes tuition for seven classes:
- Potions
- Care of Magical Creatures
- Transfiguration
- Defense Against the Dark Arts
- History of Magic
- Practical Magics
- Muggle Studies
Plus all of the following extras:
- Live sorting event (find your house!)
- Dessert social Friday night
- Quidditch tournament (on the PlayStation 2)
- Free admission to the Dark Wizards' Ball
- Free beverages throughout the weekend
- An interactive adventure spanning the entire weekend
- Full weekend membership to MileHiCon 40 (including food and drinks in the con suite!)

Everything you do will earn or lose points for your house as you compete for the House Cup!
Pre-registration ends on October 14. After that date, you can still reserve a spot by emailing us at tickets@avistrum.org. Payment will be due at the door. Reserved tickets which have not been paid for will not be guaranteed past 5PM on October 24.
