Scrum Enthusiasts!

Our June Meetup will be in Dulles at the AOL Campus thanks to our host Christen McLemore.  We will be having a guest speaker, David Bland, who will be given a retrospective workshop.  From David:

It can be difficult to convince team members to speak up in a retrospective. Each individual needs to have his or her voice heard, and by incorporating silent work techniques you can foster participation in those who may otherwise be left out. Come to this interactive tutorial as we explore the power of silent work and group collaboration in retrospectives. You’ll walk away with real world techniques to help bring out the inner voices of your team.

A bit about David, besides being an active SUG participant:

David J Bland

With over 10 years of experience in the technology industry, David has enjoyed success using agile software development at several companies near Washington DC. He joined his first startup in 1999, and helped scale it to a 13 million dollar acquisition in 2006. Since then David has helped teams deliver early and often for products ranging from eCommerce to Counter-Terrorism.
