YOU ARE INVITED...
Eight local communications groups are holding the networking event of the year from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 2, at the newly refurbished Myers University Club, 3813 Euclid Ave. We will be one of the first groups to see the beautiful decor of this former millionaire's home.
Last year, about 120 persons from six local groups attended the holiday event.
Cost is $25. There is free surface parking, and the building is easy to find -- things you told us you wanted when evaluating last year's event.
The eight sponsoring groups are:

* Association of Women in Communications (WIC)
* International Association of Business Communicators (IABC)
* Lake County Professional Communicators (LCPC), new this year
* National Television Academy (NTA), new this year
* Press Club of Cleveland

* Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ)
To promote literacy, we ask you to bring one new children's book (grades K-8). Cleveland Municipal School staff have agreed to distribute the books to appropriate schools. This is voluntary.
RSVP deadline is 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 29. Late registrations and walk-ins may be permitted until a specific level is reached. To be sure you have a place, RSVP today.
