NAWBO-SB Foundation Spirit of Entrepreneurship Awards Dinner will honor 6 Santa Barbara women entrepreneurs in specific categories as well as Maria Contreras-Sweet, founder of Promerica Bank in Los Angeles, at this elegant dinner. Ms. Contreras-Sweet, an inspring role model, will offer a brief keynote speech.

The event is being held in conjunction with the Scheinfeld Center for Entrepreneurship's New Venture Challenge Competition, a two-tiered business pitch award for SBCC students and high school students.  The top three student winners from each tier will be presented with their awards at the Spirit of Entrepreneurship Dinner by Ms. Contreras-Sweet.

Proceeds from the event, which will be hosted by NAWBO-SB Foundation (a 501(c)3), will go toward underwriting the following year's award dinner and funding at least two prizes to the Scheinfeld Center for the 2012 event.  For more information go to www.nawbo-sbfoundation.org
