MangaNEXT is a fan-run manga convention taking take place October 31 - November 2, 2008 at the Doubletree Hotel & Executive Meeting Center in Somerset, NJ. MangaNEXT is excited to be hosting this event for the third year. Anime conventions have been around for many years, and manga has had a large presence at these events, but there had never been a convention dedicated to manga. MangaNEXT corrected that. With the manga market growing in leaps and bounds and exceeding the pace of the anime market, it's manga's time to shine.

Add to my calendarUniversal Animation, the non-profit group that organizes AnimeNEXT and MangaNEXT is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the appreciation of Anime and Manga in the United States. Founded in 2002 in NYC, Universal Animation is responsible for planning AnimeNEXT, which is held annually in the Tristate (NY/NJ/CT) area. Universal Animation is an independent organization with no affiliation to any commercial entities. The Board of Directors is composed of professionals in many disparate industries, including Finance, the US Government, Education, and Information Technology.
