The Future for Today
Wednesday, March 9, 2011 from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM (GMT)
London, United Kingdom
What would a sustainable world look like in 2050? How do we imagine the future and what needs to happen today for us to get there? How do we adapt existing systems and models or develop new ones to create the sustainable society we envision?
Net Impact London invites you to come and experience World Café - a unique stakeholder engagement technique that is used to harness group intelligence for channeling the wisdom of independent thinkers into a coherent message understandable by anyone.
This process will be co-creative and fun and will provide transferable skills to participants for engaging stakeholders in finding solutions to pressing issues.
Simon Goldsmith, Director of Principled Sustainability, a strategic sustainability consulting and coaching company, will host the World Café. With over 17 years of experience in the sustainability arena, working in diverse organisations from NGO’s to multinational oil and gas companies Simon has used his knowledge and skills to innovate and create lasting sustainability outcomes utilising the passion and capabilities of people.
Why World Café?
The World Café approach has been used by businesses to develop their organizational strategy, to design new product concepts, to encourage community development, to understand and redefine company culture, and for a variety of other purposes.
