Evaluating Social Technologies: From Chaos to Strategy

Social marketing technology solutions are everywhere these days—measurement tools, website platforms, and mobile and social networks. Many marketers find the volume of the solutions and the ever-changing landscape to be overwhelming and have a difficult time sorting through all of the chaos and noise.
This event will feature speakers from three perspectives to help marketers make sense of it all. The agency perspective will explain how an agency evaluates their technology partners; a peer-to-peer perspective will feature a marketer who will discuss best practices and their experience of choosing technology partners; and a vendor perspective will include a discussion about what questions you should be asking when evaluating/selecting a technology partner.
Registration will begin at 7:30, and the program starts at 8:00am sharp. We'll get you out of there by 10:30.

For over fifteen years, Scott has been crafting user experiences and interactive marketing strategies for small and large businesses alike. With a background in interactive design, information architecture & user interface (HTML/CSS/JS) engineering and a focus on building compelling and intuitive user experiences, Scott has designed a variety of enduring, dynamic and measurable websites, applications and social media marketing engagements.

Kathy O'Reilly produced nationally-syndicated TV talkshows and magazine format TV news and entertainment programming for 15 years before moving over to the Internet in 1999. She developed and directed all PR, social media strategies, corporate communications and media relations at Lycos. She currently oversees social media strategies and outreach and manages traditional media and analyst relations at Monster.com, the leading job search matching engine & online global career/recruitment web site.
Ben Boardman handles business development for Sysomos, a Marketwire company. Boardman has worked at Marketwire for nearly five years and has expertise in traditional PR, Search Engine Optimization, and Online Brand Intelligence.
