Come and Create + Conspire + Connect, to engage our community in proactive conversations for and about film and media art in Michigan.
With the increasing demand for crew and a talent base in Michigan, Jason James Co-Founded Michigan Film Reel with Attila Bokor. With more films coming to Michigan, Jason and Attila has developed a monthly networking event to bring the film community and student film makers together for connecting and collaborating with one another for proactive partnerships that promote the entertainment arts in Michigan. We encourage the already established production companies in West Michigan to attend and open up to the young talent that is looking to crew up and or be apart of this growing industry in Michigan as of late.
Michigan Film Reel hosts it's Networking Event at McFaddens Bar. Sunday 6pm - 9pm.

We will try to answer any questions you have regarding the new budget proposal which can limit the amount of Film Tax Incentives awarded to productions coming to Michigan. Deb Havens from the West Michigan Film Video Alliance will be at the event, she will talk about a possible strategy for trying to keep the incentives intact.
