STICKY CONTENT: How to Use Mini Brands and Production Values to Make Your Training Messaging Memorable

As a trainer, your job description says you are supposed to provide information.  But the reality is…you need to make your messaging actually stick.  And that requires an emotional connection between your content and your class participants.  At the April 19th chapter meeting, Brian Walter, communications consultant and infotainment expert with Extreme Meetings, will show you how to make your training classes dramatically more sticky. How will he do that?  With an action-packed, example-laden, steal-these-ideas session on memory-enhancing techniques.  He’ll show you how to use Mini-Brands to make your content unforgettable, boost the action in interACTION, tap into Hollywood’s money for killer allusions, and become visualiscious!

Learner Outcomes

How to transform a training component into a "routine" (Adding production values heightens the experience and increases the imprint on class members' brains…thus increasing memorability)

How to use at least six different platform formats for extreme impact (C’mon...you don't just want to understand this stuff, you want to swipe and use it now)

How to put POWER into your PowerPoint with custom backgrounds, type treatment, movement, "hints" and audio effects (Doh...most trainers are embarrassed by their current PowerPoint)

How to increase audience involvement (When it's literally and physically about THEM your content truly is unforgettable)

About the Presenter
Over a 25+ year career, Brian Walter has been an advertising director, marketing & sales director, radio & TV commercial producer, copywriter, communications manager, presentation coach, video producer, adjunct college professor, management trainer, customer service trainer, consultant and professional speaker.

Brian’s business is called Extreme Meetings. He provides customized infotainment to make meetings, trainings, and presentations more memorable.  Or…to simply suck less.

Brian has presented to audiences ranging from 7 to 7,000.  His meeting and training clients have ranged from titans we all know like Starbucks, Costco and Microsoft…to several banks that are no longer in existence…to a regional office of the IRS...and a dairy company best known for awesome chocolate milk.
