Yashi, along with Tony Award Winning Poet "Poetri" will present POP
(People of Poetry), a new open mic event hosted by Poetri that takes
places every first and third Wednesday at the Hollywood Studio Bar
& Grill (6122 W. Sunset Blvd, Hollywood, CA 90028). The grand
opening is on February 2nd and that's also the date of the official book
release of her book Black Daisy in a White Limousine. You can WATCH the event LIVE (starts at 19.30 LA time) via a video streaming on the Facebook page of People of Poetry.
The goal of POP is to encourage artists of all ages from all walks of
life to express themselves in a supportive environment and have fun!
The new 2011 edition of Jackson Magazine
features an interview with Yashi in which she opens up about her first
passion poetry, about music, her family and shares ones of her poems!
