Make Out is an opportunity to get out in public and make stuff.

Bring a project, or just bring your curiosity. It's a chance to:

• Make stuff.
• Meet creative people who make stuff.
• Generate creative mojo.
• Ask questions.
• Supply answers.
• Learn new and surprising things.
• Show off projects.
• Drink beer.

You can bring any kind of project as long as it's appropriate for a public place. (No power tools, fire sculptures, super loud noises, acid foam jets, projectiles, whirling blades, etc.  You're reasonable people, you know what I'm talking about.)

Also don't bring cynicism, non-constructive criticism or negativity.

Do bring a friend.

I'll bring some basic electronicbits and a few different microcontrollersfor people to play with and learn about. If you don't have a project in progress, bring your imagination and a sketch book and we can brainstorm one!

The location:

Amsterdam Café has hundreds of different beers available as well as non-alcoholic drinks and is cash only. (There's an ATM inside and, remarkably, it hands out $10 bills!)

This is a free event but Kelly, the generous owner of Amsterdam Café, would totally appreciate it if you bought something to drink and tipped well.
