JEFF BLUE CONSULTING

What would it be like to have a private sit down with one of the biggest execs in the music business? Is it even possible to put a value on the information he would give you to take your career to the next level?

Jeff Blue has been Senior Vice President of A&R and Staff Producer for Interscope, Jive, RCA, Warner Brothers, Atlantic, Virgin, and Capitol Records. In those roles, he signed and helped develop the careers of Linkin Park, Matchbox Twenty, Limp Bizkit, Korn, Macy Gray, Hoobastank, The Last Goodnight, Better Than Ezra, Aaliyah, A Fine Frenzy and Daniel Powter. He is a multi-platinum producer, major label A&R executive, BMI Award Winning Songwriter, musician, manager, and attorney who has sold over 140 MILLION ALBUMS in all genres over the last fifteen years.

Jeff will be available for individual artists consultations. During those consultations, Jeff will discuss melodies, lyrics, chord changes, song arrangements, production and sound, songwriting, image, marketing, social networking, live performance, and overall advice on how to best secure a major label record deal. In 2010 alone, Jeff's consultations resulted in ten artists being signed to major labels! This is unheard of with the current state of the music business and economy.

There are 8 private consultations with Jeff Blue available. For $300, artists will be able to have Jeff's undivided attention for 30 minutes. During that time, Artists may play demo tapes for Jeff and receive feedback or ask Jeff any questions that they may have. Additionally, all artists who sign up for private consultations will perform a 2 song showcase at Kobo for Jeff and other presenters after the conference. Showcasing artists will also receive a complimentary music law consultation from Crumpton Law LLC.

Reserve your spot to perform for one of the most accomplished A&Rs in the world at the top of the page!

JEFF BLUE CONSULTING FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

- Will the consultations be private?

Yes. It will be just the artist (or everyone in the band if the artist is a band) and Jeff.

- What should we bring to the consultation?

Anything that you want feedback on. Definitely bring a cd with your music, a one-sheet about the band (with press quotes, information on venues played, etc.). Do not bring a guitar. You will have a chance to showcase your live skills during the Kobo showcase.

- When will our consultation be?

All consultations will be between Noon and 4:00 PM on Friday, April 22 in a private room at The Ohio Union. After you have registered, please email matt@crumpton-law.com to secure your consultation time.

- When and where is the showcase?

Your showcase will be at Kobo, located at 2590 N. High Street, Columbus, Ohio. All showcases will be between 7PM and 9PM. Showcases are not required as part of the consultation. However, showcases are not transferable. The showcase is free to the public. Many of the other panelists will also be present at the showcase. After you have registered, please email matt@crumpton-law.com to secure your showcase time. Backline will be provided for the showcase. Just bring your instruments and play.

- If we pay for a consultation, do we also have to buy tickets to the conference?

Yes. However, anyone receiving a consultation will have an opportunity to purchase tickets at the discounted rate of $10 per person.

- Is Jeff Blue going to sign someone to a major label during the consultation?

Neither the conference nor Jeff Blue make any guarantees regarding an artist being signed. However, Jeff has secured major label recording contracts for other artists in the past as a result of consultations at music conferences.
