Join us on Thursday, February 17 for “Social Media, Moms and
Marketers” - examining how social media is changing parenting, how parents
access information and how moms and dads are marketed to.
Parents trust blogs, Facebook, Twitter, and other social
media outlets as sources of education and as an outlet for their opinions.
February’s panel will share insights on how to connect with parents, and
explain why Twitter-shy moms and dads should login and join the conversation. Kate Hall, the mother behind popular
RichmondMom.com, will lead the February SMCRVA panel discussion, including:
Nearly 34 million moms—that’s almost 19% of the total online
population—go online monthly for news, shopping, information and social media.
This population has power—big brands have noticed and so should you.
Want to know how to reach this target audience for your
clients? Want to know how other parents are using these platforms in their
lives? Then you’ll want to attend February’s event as this is no ordinary
presentation. Moms, dad, marketers, social media enthusiasts, DINKS (dual
income-no kids) and singles are encouraged to attend.

This is going to be a really big event. In addition to a great lineup, we will have delicious food from Seasonings Catering and, for the first time in a while, are offering an open bar ticket. Also note that the panel discussion is going to start a little earlier than usual so we can have a real cocktail party afterwards.
