Filmmaker, Author and Digital Workflow Specialist, Jacob Rosenberg has run the gamut of digital production spearheading the use of compressed video formats for High-Definition Digital Intermediate workflows. Jacob will explain the workflows, tools and techniques he used on his latest productions including the award winning feature film August Evening, on which he served as Post-Production Supervisor. Catering to an independent sensibility on an independent budget, Jacob candidly reveals how to harness the power of Adobe CS3 Production Premium for a number of different productions and deliverables.
Jacob Rosenberg is a filmmaker and published author who continues to push projects through the bleeding edge of technology. Recently, Jacob wrote and directed the short film December Story, which he is currently pushing through a powerful digital intermediate process, utilizing HDCAM SR as his digital negative for Telecine'd Super16 film. Jacob has worked on a myriad of technical High-Definition productions ranging from a direct-to-disk HD music video to the independent feature film, Dust to Glory, which combined nine different formats into one HD master. Jacob's independent sensibility and vast knowledge of the digital landscape allows him to help filmmakers and production houses find post friendly low cost, high quality workflow solutions for finishing feature films on affordable desktop computers.
