Event Details

Learn some of the great Underground Railroad stories tied to this region at a special presentation offered by the Detroit Historical Society’s Black Historic Sites Committee at the Detroit Historical Museum. Panelists will include descendants of William Webb, Mary Ann Shadd Cary, Caroline Quarlls Watkins, and others. Local author and former Detroit News columnist Betty DeRamus will also appear. Cost is $10 for Society/ Black Historic Sites Committee members and $15 for guests. For tickets call Janice Gates at (313) 833-1262.
