NEED A BIKE AT BURNING MAN? Let Wire Donkey, known in 2003 as Community Bikes, save you the hassle of hauling a bike to the event. Wire Donkey is pre-selling refurbished Playa worthy bicycles. This service is a fundraiser for our bike repair training program for Developmentally Disabled adults. We will transport your pre-purchased bike to the Wire Donkey Theme Camp, in Black Rock City, where it will be available for pick-up Monday thru Wednesday mornings between from 9:00 am and 12:00 pm or by appointment. After the event you may keep the bike or donate it back to us and receive a tax-deductible donation. Our clients will clean them up again, and we will distribute them to those in need of transportation in our community. **Please answer questionnaire before completing purchase! It is imperative that we know what size bike you need. Last year our buyers lost many due to theft. We will provide a lock, horn, and light with your $125 ($50 taxable and $75 donation. Delivery to the playa is our gift to you for your support. We will also provide a handelbar basket for an additional $25 ($10 taxable and $15 donation).**
