| Terror at the Table – Food Product Recall | ||
|
If you are a Business Owner, CFO, Risk Manager, Crisis Manager, or Quality Manager ... this workshop is for you! Given the number of recalls and the high profile they have taken in both the media and government, this is an area of risk that is frequently overlooked or misunderstood by many. Newly proposed legislation to mandate product recall insurance is in fact currently being reviewed by the United States Senate. This workshop will present a dual approach to protecting your brand in today’s global food chain. It combines preparedness and crisis management with risk transfer and insurance. During this workshop, experts will discuss the unique exposures faced by food, beverage and ingredient processors, as well as contract manufactures and co-packers. Addressing each product type and reviewing the exposure from a first and third party standpoint along with a contractual standpoint. Potential solutions to addressing these exposures will be offered that include pre-incident preparedness to minimize the exposure, as well as crisis response option s to minimize damage in a worst case scenario. Insurance and risk transfer options will also be reviewed with a discussion on how this “financial safety net” can be combined with preparedness and crisis management services to provide a complete risk management solution in addressing this unique exposure. |
