Today it is imperative to rise above the crowd.  Today you need to be easy to be found. Once people find you, your thought leadership needs to be robust to create your reputation and expertise.    Your brand whether you are a company or an individual needs to be unique and distinctive.

Hank Blank’s presentation will outline how to tap the power of personal and social networking to help you rise above the crowd. Today approximately 80% of clients find their own vendors.If you are in transition you are in a huge pool of great talent vying for a limited number of jobs.  Today it is not about your elevator speech, it is all about your Google presence.

Whether you are a company or an individual you need to own the first page on Google with positive thought leadership so you look prominent, current and smart.  Today you need to distinguish yourself based not on what you do but who you are.

You also need to be extremely proficient in social media and social networks to help your SEO and spread your thought leadership.

You also need a strong personal network to create a strong reputation for you through word of mouth dialogue, generate referrals and empower you with resources.

Hank will also help you improve your networking skills by having an attitude of engagement.

Hank Blank runs Blank and Associates. He helps clients solve through his knowledge and his network.  Core competencies include advertising, public relations, social networking, and interactive solutions for companies.  He also conducts agency reviews for clients and assists agencies with new business development.

Networking is the engine fueling these activities.  Hank has spoken on networking to numerous organizations and companies throughout Southern California.

Hank has over 25 years of advertising and marketing experience on some of the top brands throughout North America.  He has worked at DDB Needham, J. Walter Thompson, Ross Roy and O’Leary and Partners on brands such as McDonald’s, S.C. Johnson, Warner Lambert, Century 21, Labatt’s Breweries, Kellogg’s, Campbell Soup and Unocal.

Hank has two children both of which are available for adoption.

He has runs six marathons but doesn’t know why.

Hank comes from a long line of nomads.  His brother was born in Warsaw Poland, his sister in Beirut Lebanon and Hank was born in Toronto Canada.
