NAMI Minnesota's 9th Annual Dinner, sponsored with the University of Minnesota, will feature special guest speaker Judith Warner, journalist and author of We've Got Issues: Children and Parents in the Age of Medication. Warner will discuss the difficult journey parents face in trying to make the right decisions in getting help for their children with diagnosis, treatment, medications and support.
Key presenters will include four of Minnesota's leading mental illness researchers providing the latest information on their studies: Gerald August, Ph.D.; Michael Miller, Ph.D; Kathryn Cullen, M.D., and S. Charles Schulz, M.D.
The Research Dinner will be held Feb. 22, at Eagan Community Center, 1501 N. Central Parkway, with seating at 5:30 and the Dinner and Program starting at 6:00. Tickets are $35. Please register by Feb. 18.
