Our Education partner, TMGI - Transportation Management Group, specializes in hazardous material training that assists you in meeting the Department of Transportation (DOT Title 49 CFR 172.700-172.704), International Air Transport Association (IATA DGR 1.5) requirements, and IMO/IMDG training.
COURSE DESCRIPTIONS
HAZWOPER Seminar (Emergency Response)
1-Day Operations Level or Annual Refresher Course includes: chemical hazards, hazard assessment, hot zones, emergency response operations, PPE and decontamination.
Includes a copy of the 2004 Emergency
Response Guidebook, training workbook and training certification.
RCRA Seminar (Hazardous Waste)
1-Day Initial or Annual Refresher Course includes: identifying, handling, labeling, manifesting and storage of hazardous waste, recordkeeping, reporting, contingency plans and land disposal restriction requirements.
Includes a copy of the Title 40 CFR, training workbook and training certification.
DOT Seminar (US Domestic)

1-Day Course includes: Format of the regula-tions, general/UPS/training requirements, security awareness, hazard classes, packing groups, use of hazardous materials table, hazardous substances, marine pollutants, identifying proper shipping names, Non-specification/UN specification packaging re-quirements, exceptions / exemptions, marking, labeling, documentation, emergency response requirements, segregation and placarding.
Includes a copy of the Title 49 CFR, 2004 Emergency Response Guidebook, training workbook and training certification.

IMO / IMDG Seminar (Vessel)
International Maritime Dangerous Goods
1-Day Course includes: Navigating the IMDG Code, definitions, units of measure, identifica-tion, marine pollutants, hazardous waste, marking, labeling, placarding, limited quanti-ties, mixtures / solutions, documentation, packaging requirements, packaging dangerous goods together, stowage, and segregation. Previous 49 CFR training required prior to taking this seminar. Includes training workbook and training
certification.
