You're hereby invited to join us from 6:00 pm on Friday 23 May 2008 to
celebrate the Asia-Pacific launch of our brand-new SpringSource
Application Platform™.
Virtually concurrent release parties will be held in Sydney,
Melbourne, Brisbane, Wellington and Singapore, and will feature the
world's first live demonstrations, along with free food, drink, fun
and giveaways. After a quick demo, there will be plenty of
opportunity to meet and mingle with other local developers, industry
insiders, and SpringSource staff.
What Is the SpringSource Application Platform™?
SpringSource Application Platform™ is a next-generation, OSGi-based runtime application server. It is based on SpringSource's unique Dynamic Module Kernel™ (dm-Kernel) technology, which provides a module-based backbone for the server whilst also harnessing the power of Spring, Apache Tomcat and OSGi-based technologies. There server is available under the GPL open source license, together with a commercial license.
OSGi technology provides significant benefits to developers, operations and management. For the operations team, the SpringSource Application Platform™ features seamless application and resource library upgrades, side-by-side
version deployments, as well as application monitoring and analysis
from URL throughput to query, cache and transaction statistics. For
the development team, it provides a flexible and resilient
