BGE's Small Business Lighting Solutions (SBLS) Program

BGE has a somewhat unknown rebate program that targets selected commercial customers. If BGE lists your location on their rate schedule as a "G" (general) or "GS" (general small) customer, you may qualify to participate- this information is shown on the back of your monthly BGE invoice. 

In their Small Business Lighting Solutions program, BGE will pay for up to 80% of the cost to perform an energy efficient lighting upgrade.  Don't let the phrase "Small Business" throw you, there are over 75,000 accounts in BGE's service territory that qualify for this program.  Below are a few of the key points that will be discussed on the 18th:

• A no cost/no obligation audit of your facility will be performed and an energy savings analysis provided for your review.
• The easy to read audit results will show your projected annual savings, total project investment, BGE's contribution and your net cost with payback.
• All pricing and product has been preset and pre-selected by BGE to insure the work is completed at below market levels.
• There are exclusive licensed and insured contractors selected for each county area providing this service for BGE.
• In the majority of applications, customer paybacks range from one year or less.
• You could miss this opportunity! 
• Even if your facility does not qualify, there are still other BGE otions available.
