Event Details

With thanks to our meeting sponsor Renewtek, we are pleased to annouce the Melbourne Spring User Group Meeting.

The Melbourne Spring User Group will have three speakers:

  • Ben Alex will be presenting on the Spring Portfolio, which will be of great interest to people interesting in a "big picture" overview of Spring and its associated collection of integrated open source products. Existing users will also hear about the roadmap, as well as some of the portfolio members they aren't already using. Ben presented this topic at the Singapore JUG, Sydney Spring User Group, and Wellington Spring Evening in February.
  • Mike Russon will be presenting "Spring AOP in production".
  • Adam Boas and Rob Monie will be presenting "Extending Spring MVC".

Registration and refreshments open from 6:30 pm, with the formal meeting kicking off at 7:00 pm and finishing at 8:30 pm.

There is no cost involved, and light refreshments will be provided courtesy of Renewtek. There will also be some extra drinks and nibbles when the evening's formal presentation wraps up.

You do not need to be a member to attend. You simply need to register via this web site, so that we can ensure there is sufficient seating and refreshments for those interested.

Your registration record will not be shared with anyone. We'll only use it to print your name badge, and add you to the Australasia Spring Interest list (so that you know about future Spring user group meetings and similar events in our region, as well as any potential changes to this event's details).

Please note that registration is on a first-come basis, as seating is limited at this event. Therefore, kindly register ASAP to secure your place. Also, please let us know if you can't attend so that we don't keep your place reserved. Unfortunately late registrations cannot be guaranteed seating, although we'll always do our best to accommodate you.
