Tea & Creativity - Mom/Daughter Art Class

How about some "girl time" while enjoying a fun art activity? By popular request, here is calligraphy instruction for those looking for a short-term introductory class. Though calligraphy is a skill that takes time and practice to acquire, this class will give you the basics on which to build. Even if you have prior experience in this art, you'll enjoy the projects and a chance to make new friends.
Each day there will be instruction in calligraphy and design techniques. Then we'll put it to use by doing projects such as personal stationery, invitations, decorative quotes, table decor such as placecards, favors, signs & menus. There will be a break midway for tea, snacks & socializing. The class will culminate in a tea party on Friday - complete with china & all! No dress-up required, but you're welcome to, if you wish.
Girls and moms may register individually or together. Moms are not required to stay with daughters (or vice versa!)
NOTE: A similar month-by-month club might be offered in the Fall & Spring.
