Join us on Saturday, May 10, 2008 for The Amazing New York Race – a Scavenger Hunt Adventure through the streets of New York City. At each stop on the race, you and your team perform a mental or physical challenge advancing to the finish line to claim your prize. You can sign up with a group of up to five people or you can sign up alone and we will pair you up with a group the day of the event. (One person per team should have a digital camera). Overall this will be a great way to spend the day and meet new friends… or bond with old ones.
How it works:
We will break you up into teams of FIVE (or you can create your own team) and send you out on the town. "A series of clues will lead you to the finish line where we will continue to mingle at an after-event mixer." Each member of the winning team receives a prize valued at $100 (per person)!
Who should attend:
This will be a PRIVATE event for NJYPers and their guests.
Single and married members of NJYP who are 21-39 years old.
This is not an event for children or pets.
What to bring:
Good running/walking shoes, an all day Metrocard, rain gear (if needed).
Each team will need to take digital pictures so bring your camera or camera phone.
Optional items include water, backpack, money, sunglasses, etc.
The race will last about 2-4 hours.

This event is rain or shine! Please come prepared.

$25 from 5-1-08 to 5-9-08
$35 at the Door

Tickets:
There are a limited number of Tickets for sale.
Tickets are not mailed, but your name will be kept at the door.

New Jersey Young Professionals is about getting out and making friends! There are thousands of members and a whopping 20-30 Official Events per month.
