Friday, April 25, 2008 from 8:30 AM - 11:00 AM (PT)
This is your chance to ask anything, and hear the different opinions about your questions from a VC’s perspective, an Angel’s perspective, and a seasoned CEO’s perspective.
Some of the questions you might ask include:
1. When an investor asks me what my expected valuation is, how should I respond?
2. When negotiating a term sheet, what are the 2 things that are most important to an investor vs. the company?
3. How much negotiation room is there after receiving a term sheet?
4. How much of your issues in your company should the CEO discuss and reveal to their board members?
5. When does the VC want to replace the CEO, and why?
6. What kind of fiduciary responsibility do you have as a CEO of the company to the board?
7. Is it ok for the Founder to say that he is open to a new CEO before the VC makes that suggestion in the first meeting?
8. And, any direct questions that will help you in your process of fundraising…
