Minneapolis Somali Home Stretch Homebuyer Education Class
Saturday, March 12, 2011 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (CST)
This class fulfills the homebuyer education requirement for first time homebuyer programs in Minnesota. Check with your loan officer to determine who needs to attend for your required program.
This is an 8 hour class with a one hour break for lunch on your own.
Dress comfortably for the day.
Complimentary coffee and donuts are served at the beginning of class.
Please arrive by 8:00 a.m. Late arrivals will have to arrange to make up the time in order to receive their certificate.
Certificates will be issued at the end of class.

The African Families Development Network (AFDN) is a housing counseling agency to provide Pre-purchase One-on-One Counseling, Pre-purchase Homebuyer Education Workshops, and Services for the Homeless One-on-One Counseling.
AFDN provides low and moderate income households with an opportunity to participate in the benefits of homeownership. Home Buyer Education Classes For First-Time Homebuyers:
Home buyer education will assist you with purchasing a home and help you become a long-term successful homeowner, with established curriculum and instructional goals, provided in a group or classroom setting, or other formats approved by HUD. We encourage home buyer education classes for everyone considering homeownership or other formats approved by HUD. The ideal time to attend home buyer education classes is prior to looking for a home.
