Associate Professor of Petroleum Geology

Colorado School of Mines

  ¨ Apply integrated structural and stratigraphic concepts of basin evolution to  help predict trap geometry

¨ Recognize regional structural styles from map and cross sections

¨ Distinguish characteristics of structural styles on reflection seismic

¨ profiles

¨ Interpret deformation mechanism during structural evolution

¨ Predict reservoir scale deformation and influence on porosity,

¨ permeability and continuity

 

 

 

Registration begins at 7:15 AM, Course starts at 8:00 AM
