Marketing needs Sales to be successful and vice versa. Why does it still feel like we’re at cross purposes? Where does Marketing’s job end and Sales’ job begin?
Sales is the guardian of the customer relationship – they have the most intimate knowledge of individual customer and prospect needs. They know where they are at in the sales process and can easily describe the relationship with any particular customer or prospect.
