DC Entrepreneurship Week

D.C. Entrepreneurship Week was created out of a desire to bolster the thriving business
community in the Washington DC area; a region that boasts the 5th highest concentration of entrepreneurs in the country (Grasshopper Group, July 2010). Designed for entrepreneurs by entrepreneurs, the multi-faceted symposium aims to answer pressing ‘real-world’ questions in an intimate setting from business leaders who have paved the way. Attendees will walk away with applicable knowledge, resources and opportunities specific to their industry.

From November 15th – 19th, DCEW will focus on various industry groups such as Digital & Mobile Media, IT, Real Estate, Telecom, Hospitality & Service and ‘Eco Entrepreneurism’ just to name a few. Female entrepreneurs will find unique value through a wealth of content directly designed for ‘Women in Business’.

Through a series of panel discussions, roundtables and forums designed to integrate educational opportunities with interactive discussions, registrants will gain valuable knowledge and learn from each other and industry innovators to help navigate the course from start-up to empire. Attendees will have the extraordinary opportunity personally pitch their business plans directly to Venture Capitalist groups such as Core Capital Partners, a $350 million dollar VC firm headquartered in the District.
