Time:  9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Teacher:  Patrice Schanck

A child’s love of learning doesn’t stop when summer comes. That is why The Gardner School introduces the two-week Academic Challenge Adventure Workshop. This fun and stimulating class features exploration of a variety of topics in the humanities, mathematics and the sciences.

This class sparks curiosity and hones problem solving and reasoning skills. Students tackle classic riddles, logic problems and famous historical and scientific puzzles that intrigue and delight the young thinker.  The instructor utilizes teaching traditions ranging from modern, hands-on inquiry to the Socratic Method to introduce formal reasoning skills. This class is geared toward the talented and gifted child, and open to all.

The Academic Challenge Adventure Workshop welcomes children entering 3rd to 6th grade. Younger children may be admitted with the discretion of the teacher.

>>>PRIOR TO ENROLLING, if you need the sibling discount code, please contact Leslie Weinstock to receive it.
