Members of the community are invited to join the planning of Arts Partners. This event will cover the latest developments on the initiative and provide an opportunity for citizens to join one of several committees focusing on program design, implementation and communication. Specific tasks and anticipated time commitment will also be shared. Involvement of teachers, arts specialists, principals, artists, arts and cultural organizations, parents and community leaders is encouraged.

Arts Partners is a new vision for integrating arts and culture into every classroom in the Portland metropolitan area. This collaborative initiative involves the Regional Arts and Culture Council, NW Business for Culture and the Arts, Young Audiences of Oregon and SW Washington, the City of Portland, Multnomah and Clackamas Counties, the local arts and culture community and five school districts including Beaverton, Gresham-Barlow, Hillsboro, North Clackamas and Portland.
