Event Details

The YPHSIG Clinical Education Day (9th Oct) will provide paediatricians, GPs and other clinicians with an update on how to manage common health problems and conditions facing adolescents and young adults. The expert speakers will address these health problems in the context of the life course of the young person and consider how to provide coordinated care across the interface of primary, secondary and specialised services. Attendees will learn from experts in the field of young people's health, specialists delivering care to young people and from young people themselves. The event will provide 6 CPD credits and offer a great opportunity to network with other professionals working with young people in health services.

There will also be a YPHSIG dinner on the evening of Thursday 9th October and there a Development Half Day and AGM on Friday 10th October. The Development Session (10th Oct) is an exciting opportunity to hear nationally acclaimed speakers covering topics such as A Beginner's Guide to Quality Improvement, How to Influence and Implement Young People's Health Policy and Using Education Healthcare Plans to Improve Outcomes for Young People. Attendance at the Development Half Day and AGM is free to paid YPHSIG members attending the Clinical Education Day.

Reduced rates are available for YPHSIG members and there is a concessionary rate for trainees, students, nurses and allied heath professionals.
