Early Bird Social Media Breakfast
Early Bird Social Media Breakfast exists to educate business professionals, non-profit volunteers, government agencies, students and community members about social media; to develop a networking group that supports and encourages social media use on all levels; and to present training sessions that instruct attendees how to create and maintain social, web-based and mobile technologies as an interactive way to do business.
The Early Bird Social Media Breakfast hosts quarterly programs, open to the public and free of charge, in Fond du Lac and Oshkosh, Wis. In addition to the Early Bird Social Media Breakfast presentations, the group hosts quarterly Night Owl Tweet Ups – where attendees gather for happy hour networking to share social media tips, tricks and tool recommendations.
The group was founded as a collaboration of Blue Door Consulting, Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce and U.S. Cellular® in 2012, and is currently led by volunteers from Blue Door Consulting, US Cellular®, UW Oshkosh, wisnet.com and Wells Vehicle Electronics.
